Chiropractic is a regulated health profession providing non-invasive, hands-on care to more than 1.2 million patients in Ontario every year to help them live healthy, active lives. Chiropractors are experts in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries including neck pain, headaches, low back pain, postural strain and spinal alignment. In addition to correcting spinal related problems, chiropractors also treat your peripheral joints – shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. Our chiropractors will meet with a new patient over a 60 minute initial visit and speak with you about your problem and conduct a comprehensive history and physical examination. Your first visit will consist of a postural, neurological, orthopaedic, muscular and joint examination to determine the cause of your problem. You will be provided with a diagnosis and plan of treatment indicating the frequency of visits and approximate time it will take for you to get better. Chiropractors practice a drug-free, manual “hands-on” approach to reduce pain, increase range of motion and restore normal function using:
• Spinal Adjustments
• Joint Mobilizations
• Soft Tissue Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Acupuncture
• Sport Specific Conditioning
• Nutritional Supplements
• X-Ray Services
