Dr. Charles Yip graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honours Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences with a Thesis in Immunology. He then went on to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Through his work experience in community health centers, Dr. Yip has gained valuable clinical experience with assessing and treating various acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He is also a clinical assessor at Mount Sinai Hospital, working alongside the Department of Advanced Therapeutics with spinal stenosis patients.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Yip’s primary goal is to help patients with pain management, injury prevention, maintain joint mobility, and overall physical health. He uses a variety of manual therapies which include: joint manipulation, joint mobilizations, Myofascial release therapy, electro-acupuncture and dry needling, interferential current, TENS, laser therapy, and therapeutic ultrasound. Dr. Yip’s primary interest is the rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries, along with incorporating manual therapy to provide the best results for patients.
Dr. Yip is in good standing with the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario chiropractic Association, the College of Chiropractors Ontario, and the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association.
