From a young age, Senka has always wanted to help people. During high school, she volunteered and was then promoted as a physiotherapy assistant gaining experience in providing patient centered functional exercise programs and physical therapy rehabilitation. During this period, Senka pursued her creative interests in Interior Design while attending Ryerson University. In 2004, Senka began working at the Sheraton Hotel Spa performing relaxation massage. During this period, she really became motivated and passionate in using creative techniques and various forms of massage. Senka enrolled in a comprehensive 2-year program and graduated from ICT Kikkawa College as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2007 and has been an ongoing active member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). With over 15 years of experience, she has combined her passion for integrating creative techniques in massage and empathy to help patients overcome their problems and maximize recovery. Senka believes in the art of massage … “our bodies are canvases to be worked on and transformed to improve how we feel and enjoy our lives”. Senka has worked in a variety of settings including spas, sports therapy clinics, pregnancy, and car accident rehabilitation clinics gaining extensive experience in helping patients with postural and repetitive strains, workplace injuries, whiplash and low back strain, athletic injuries and improving sport performance, pre- and post-natal massage, and stressed people wanting great relaxation treatments. Senka’s motto is “revive, refresh and rejuvenate your mind, body and soul” and her favorite way to achieve that for her clients is through a deeper relaxation treatment utilizing a combination of different hands-on myofascial techniques and modalities. So come on in and give it a try!
